The Writer Behind My Momtastic Life
My name is Victoria and I’m a proud wife and stay-at-home-mommy to one sweet baby boy named Marshall. I’m a former preschool teacher, Texan, and craftaholic. When we found out that I was expecting, we decided that it was best to move to another town to start our family, leaving my job behind. While I absolutely adored being a preschool teacher, I love being a SAHM even more, and I now use my love for creating lesson plans and learning activities to teach my son and share ideas with my readers.
During my pregnancy I started a personal blog, simply as an outlet and a means to document every moment that I could of that precious time. I didn’t expect many people to follow along, but it did surprisingly well, to the point where I felt that starting a professional blog would be the next logical step. Starting a blog was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. It has allowed me to connect with hundreds of other women, many of them bloggers themselves, as well as drive me to try new things and work on my writing.
I have since moved on from writing solely about my own family (because how interesting is that, really?) and have shifted my focus to writing articles about motherhood, crafts & DIY projects, frugal living, home organization, occasional recipes, and mom product recommendations/reviews. We are big supporters of small business owners, and I love featuring products to bring exposure to their shops, so you will find plenty of that here. Though some posts will be sponsored, I will always let you know somewhere in the article, and I will only promote products that I personally have tried and love. For my full affiliate disclosure, copyright and privacy statements, see this page.
I also share blogging tips, full of social media marketing strategies and advice on starting and monetizing a blog, as well as how to become a brand rep/ambassador for shops. I am still low on the totem pole of mommy bloggers, but I have learned so much since I began, and I get asked questions about it pretty frequently. Anyone that wants to make money by blogging can, if you put the work in and know what areas to focus on, and I would love to share what knowledge I have with my readers.
Don’t forget to subscribe to my newsletter so you can stay up to date on my latest posts and features. I am currently working on a few email series, printables and more, exclusive to subscribers. You won’t want to miss it! Thank you to everyone to who took the time to read this, and thank you all for your support. It means so much!
