I’m a little late on posting this due to all the traveling we did this month, but Marshall turned 6 months old on Mother’s Day. I still can’t believe it’s already been half a year since he was born! So much has happened since November. I’ve documented every day of his life so far, and I thought it would be awesome to share.
He’s gone from a tiny, grunting newborn to a super active and happy baby. The past six months have been rewarding, exciting, and at times, terrifying. You always hear parents say that they never knew such a strong bond existed until their child came into their life, and for good reason. Cliche’s are cliche’s for a reason! Marshall has taught me so much about myself and the type of person I want to be for him, and I strive every day to be better; to be more patient, to be the best mom I can be.
To celebrate and remember his half birthday, we made a painting on a small canvas that I’m going to hang in our living room. It was super fun and easy! We put some paint on the canvas, then wrapped it in cling wrap and let him have at it! Jeff had to help me because Marshall wanted to put the whole thing in his mouth and rip all of the plastic wrap off. He had fun with it, and now I have a cute memento.
Anyways, here are pictures of Marshall from every day since the day he was born until he was 6 months old! 182 days of sweetness!
I’m so proud of how far he’s come in such a short amount of time and my love for him grows exponentially every day! Happy 6 month birthday Marshall.
