I’ve been on the hunt for fun things to do this Fall since early August. And finally, the time has come! Friday was the official first day of Autumn and I couldn’t be happier. I’m so excited that I’ve already started pulling out our cardigans and sweaters, despite the persistent 90-degree Texas weather. The fall wreath has been made, and I’ve had 3 pumpkin spice lattes. I’m ready to say goodbye to the hot summer!
I’ve spent the last couple of weeks preparing for Fall this year. Let’s be real – this mostly consisted of me spending way too much time on Pinterest. (Check out my Autumn Pinterest Board to see all of the cute ideas I’ve found!) After perusing different blogs and pins, I’ve compiled a list of all the things I’d love to do this Fall. What better way to get in the mood for the new season than to have a bucket list? Check it out below.
Next week I’ll be sharing how to add a Fall touch to your home. It can be as simple as adding a festive throw blanket on your couch and lighting a seasonal candle. I know it can be overwhelming at first, especially when you’re a new homemaker like myself. I’m learning as I go and I love sharing my tips with you! If you’re on the lookout for cute Autumn decorations under $30, I highly recommend this post by Corinne from Happiness in Homemaking.
I’ve seen people write these out on popsicle sticks so they can pull a random activity out to do with their family. How cute is that!? If you don’t have any extra popsicle sticks around – or if you’re like me and you love checklists – I made a printable version of this Fall 2017 Bucket List to keep track of the fun things you do this year! You can download it from the Printables Library!
I want to thank RedBirdPaperShop for the cute clipart bundle, Autumn Is In The Air. She made the pie, pumpkin and scarf clipart found throughout this post. You’ll be seeing her work more in the upcoming months! And if you’re a blogger, you might want to check her out to take your pins and printables up a notch. She’s awesome!
Happy Fall, Y’all! I hope you this list gave you some ideas of ways to celebrate Autumn this year. If you print this Bucket List out, I’d love to see it in action! Don’t forget to tag me on Twitter or Instagram @mymomtasticlife.
